Maine Trip

August 15 through August 20, 2024

Friends we made while living in Lakeland, Florida were "Snowbirds" that are from Saco, Maine.  We visited them in August of 2024 and had a fabulous visit.  Maine is no doubt a beautiful state and a great place to visit.  Our friends and their family were great hosts and made our visit a memory to remember.

Besides visiting the Saco area we also traveled to a super tourist spot at York Beach.  It's a classic, family-friendly coastal village in the town of York, Maine.  Our friends and their family also have a lakeside house a few hours north of Saco on the Great Moose Lake near St. Albans, Maine.  As you can tell when you see the lake house pictures we took, that we had an outstanding time.  The boat ride was very enjoyable and interesting.  Great Moose Lake is a very scenic 3,500+ acre lake located in central Maine in Somerset County.
